Pipeline TD, Compositor, Film Editor

Zach Breene is an aspiring Pipeline TD and Compositor studying for a Master's of Fine Arts in Visual Effects at the Savannah College of Art & Design. Integrating Code, AI, and Visual Effects

What first started as a career push into Computer Science quickly merged into an aspiration to work behind the computer on feature-length film, short film, television, and the gaming industry. Through my work as a video editor, I found a distinct passion for helping creative minds and artists bring their ideas to life with the power of cutting-edge video editing software. I wanted to find a way to bridge my coding knowledge with that passion for helping creative minds, which lead me to my current life of studying for an MFA in Visual Effects at SCAD, where I intend to learn what it takes to be a Technical Director in the industry. I am currently hard at work, learning many programs and facets of the VFX pipeline, while taking every chance to apply my knowledge of code and AI.
